  27. i am having the same problem, on an IBM thinkpad with a Motorola PCMCIA
  28. modem.

  30. i have a000-bfff excluded from memory, and i still get the same thing.

  32. the odd thing is that if i shut down kermit, then restart it, the link
  33. stays up and my terminal goes back to normal for a few screens.
